ST Physician in Adult Psychiatry

We are now looking for you who want to complete your ST in adult psychiatry! With us, you will have the opportunity to grow in your role as a physician and build a solid foundation for your future specialist competence in psychiatry.

You will work in newly built premises with a beautiful view of Kalmarsund and Öland. We want you to succeed and have a strong focus on education, supervision, and collegial support – something that is repeatedly highlighted by both students and physicians during their training with us.

In our learning environment, you will supervise medical students and junior doctors. You will collaborate in interdisciplinary teams with a focus on the patient. Day and on-call work is part of the position. You will actively contribute, together with us, to a positive work environment.

About You

You are a licensed physician or will be shortly. To succeed in this role, you are expected to have an interest in psychiatry and psychiatric conditions. Previous work experience in psychiatric care is an advantage.

As a person, you see the value of building and maintaining good relationships with patients and colleagues, which is a key factor for effective collaboration and problem-solving. Furthermore, you possess good communication skills, enabling you to express yourself clearly and adapt your language and message according to the recipient and situation.

Your Future Workplace

You will work in newly built and modern premises specifically designed for specialist psychiatry. These premises promote effective coordination within psychiatric services and offer a pleasant environment for you, with spacious staff areas and a beautiful view of Kalmarsund and Öland. We are a clinic with 37 inpatient beds and about 230 employees, including 5 ST physicians and 15 specialist physicians. Here, there are three inpatient wards and two outpatient clinics.
