Tallgläntan is a special accommodation with different focuses within elderly care. There are accommodations for people with dementia, accommodations for older mentally ill individuals, as well as short-term accommodations. Short-term residents at Tallgläntan come for various reasons including assessment, rehabilitation, respite, or palliative care. Currently, the short-term unit has 30 places. The short-term unit is an exciting workplace where all work is carried out in continuous collaboration with care staff, case managers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and nurses.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a staff member with us, you provide individual and secure care by working in close relationships with the user and their relatives, viewing the person from a holistic perspective. You will perform certain medical care tasks based on delegation from a nurse. As part of your daily work, you will use the intraphone, which is part of our planning and documentation system. To succeed in this role, it is important that you have good collaboration and initiative skills and take responsibility for driving high-quality elderly care. A good approach is crucial for us.

We work in teams around the user with care assistants, nursing assistants, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and activity coordinators to provide health-promoting care and support of very high quality. This also means that you have secure support from colleagues, both care staff and other professional roles.

Part of the position will include shared shifts, which means that you may occasionally be required to work a few shifts at another accommodation or with other services that we collaborate with within Falkenberg Municipality.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and can provide proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare that you are authorized to use the protected professional title. Experience in dementia care, psychiatry, and/or healthcare and BPSD is an advantage. Computer skills are desirable. You should be responsible, flexible, have a good ability to collaborate, and be focused on the users' best interests. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Experience from short-term accommodation is desirable.

OTHER

As of July 1, 2023, the title of nursing assistant became a protected professional title. This means that proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare will be required to use the title of nursing assistant within care and support.
