JOB DESCRIPTION
Do you want to work independently, closely with patients, and have a great opportunity to influence your everyday life? We are now looking for a nurse for a parental leave position in home care!
The nursing organization in home care in Alvesta Municipality consists of about 40 nurses organized into teams based at the municipality's special accommodations, also responsible for the associated home care area. The position is located in the central part of Alvesta, and working hours are scheduled for both day and evening shifts, including weekends.
The work as a nurse in the municipality is free and stimulating, with good opportunities for knowledge development. Your patients include both care recipients in special accommodations and patients of all ages who are cared for in their homes. In interactions with patients and colleagues, good relationships and participation are created. You are responsible for assessments, treatments, coordination, and follow-up - always with the care recipient's and patient's needs in focus.
As a nurse, you are a key person - the work involves making independent decisions on the spot, but you are part of a team of nurses, nursing assistants, and rehabilitation professionals. You also collaborate with primary care and the unit manager at the special accommodation.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a licensed nurse. Previous experience as a nurse in municipal home care is an advantage.
The work as a nurse in home care requires confidence in the professional role, independence, the ability to collaborate, experience in leading care staff within HSL, and creating good relationships. You need to have a good demeanor and a willingness to create security for care recipients and patients. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
A valid driver's license is required as travel is included in the position.
