JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for several dedicated and caring nursing assistants/caregivers for our special accommodations located in Lenhovda, Åseda, and Älghult during the summer. With us, you will have the opportunity to create safety and quality of life for our residents through a professional, warm, and individualized approach.

As an employee in special accommodation, you work closely with the residents and provide support and care based on their individual needs. Your tasks may include:

  • Personal care
  • Medically delegated tasks
  • Support during meals and daily activities
  • Social stimulation and safety-creating measures
  • Documentation in the operational system

The work involves actively participating in developing a good care and support environment for the residents.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in elderly care, where you meet people with respect, warmth, and professionalism. You find it easy to collaborate but can also work independently. Since documentation is an important part of the job, good computer skills and proficiency in the Swedish language are required.

Previous experience and/or education in the field is an advantage.

The vacation period is June, July, and August. We prioritize applicants who can work both vacation periods (weeks 26-29 and weeks 30-33). A mandatory introduction will take place before the summer position begins.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

OTHER

If you are selected for employment, the employer will request an extract from the criminal record. The municipal council has decided that all new hires must present a criminal record extract before employment. The extract to be presented is the one for work within schools or preschools.
