Hospital Rehab is tasked with contributing to better acute care and rehabilitation for patients in Kronoberg County. We are about 100 employees working together to meet patients' needs for assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and disease prevention efforts.

With us, you will meet a dedicated and competent team consisting of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech therapists, dietitians, social workers, psychologists, sexologists, rehab coordinators, rehab assistants, and administrative staff.

At the hospital in Växjö, we are a team of about 15 occupational therapists. We have daily check-ins to prioritize and support each other. We care about a good working environment and a culture characterized by openness, good communication, community, and close collaboration.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an occupational therapist with us, you will work both in inpatient and outpatient care. You will have the opportunity to work with several patient groups in different clinics, providing a varied and developing assignment. In inpatient care, the work is largely done in collaboration with colleagues, while outpatient care involves more independent work. You will be an important part of the team around the patient and in the rehabilitation process.

Responsibilities included in the assignment are:

• ADL assessments and cognitive assessments
• Trial of assistive devices
• Contact with the municipality before discharge
• Assessment of referrals
• Patient visits in outpatient care, both physical and digital
• Collaboration with various professions, primarily physiotherapists and rehab assistants, but also social workers, speech therapists, dietitians, and nursing staff on the wards.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying:

• are a licensed occupational therapist, preferably with previous work experience in the profession
• have good collaboration skills and thrive in interdisciplinary teams
• are independent, take responsibility, and drive your work forward
• find it easy to take on new tasks and enjoy variety in your work
• are clear and attentive in your communication, both with patients and colleagues
