Ljungberga is a special accommodation facility located in the Kungshögen area. Ljungberga has various units divided into special accommodation, short-term accommodation, and respite care.

The position is in special accommodation.

The schedule includes day and evening shifts as well as weekends.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a care staff member at Ljungberga, you are responsible for person-centered care for individuals, which means preserving the individual's abilities and independence. A strong focus is placed on creating good, safe, and secure care for the individual.

In addition to regular care tasks, responsibilities also include medication management, contact with various professionals/family members, and performing daily and rehabilitative interventions to help the individual maintain and/or improve their activity and functional abilities. There is also a responsibility to create conditions for meaningful activities for the individual in the department or Meeting Place.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in working with people, focusing on a salutogenic approach and a daily and rehabilitative perspective. It is important that you can work independently, make your own decisions, and think solution-focused. We place great emphasis on personal suitability, job satisfaction, teamwork, and collaboration with colleagues and other professionals working around the individual. The work demands a high level of initiative and responsibility for documentation.

You need to have a broad competence regarding various diseases and be flexible to meet different individuals' needs for support/help based on their varying activity and functional levels. It is an advantage if you have extensive knowledge in the healthcare profession and master different types of delegations. For the operation to function safely and securely for the individual, you need to be able to work in a structured manner, follow routines, be flexible, and have the ability to plan based on the operation.
