We are now looking for an engaged nurse/community nurse to join our team at the Birka health center.

The Birka health center is located in the east of Växjö and is a suitably sized health center with accumulated experience and knowledge. We know that it is our employees who create security and quality for our patients – therefore, we ensure that you are seen, listened to, and appreciated. Work with us is varied, where no day is like the other. You will meet patients of all ages and life situations. Some patients we meet continuously while others less often. We offer basic healthcare for all age groups, counseling, rehabilitation, preventive health measures, child health care, and psychiatric competence.

We have specialist clinics in wounds, diabetes, asthma/COPD, incontinence, dementia, elderly care, and child health care, which gives you the opportunity to deepen your competence in several areas. You will work alongside experienced and competent colleagues who support your development and contribute to a positive work environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a community nurse/nurse with us, you will have varied days with diverse tasks. Your responsibilities will include reception work, telephone counseling, and assessments via phone/video. We will consider your previous experiences and plan the introduction according to your conditions.

As a community nurse/nurse in primary care, you will also contribute your expertise at our emergency medical center. There, we are available for our citizens, weekends and weekdays after 5 PM. Many of us share the mission, and we offer you a special introduction for the emergency medical center, all to ensure you feel secure and can develop in your role.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a community nurse or a licensed nurse, preferably with experience from a health center or other reception work.

You are positive, engaged, and capable of working both independently and in a team. You are flexible, responsible, and have a genuine interest in helping people. Additionally, you are not afraid to use and explore digital solutions.
