JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
In the cardiology department/HIA, patients with various types of heart diseases are primarily cared for. Here, you will meet patients who have acutely fallen ill or worsened in their heart function, where the need for quick and safe care is great.
As a nurse, you lead and distribute the nursing work and have a central role in the team. Together, you work to meet the patient's needs in the acute phase and plan the continued care in dialogue with the patient. You often become the hub of communication between relatives, home care, and other professions, an important part of creating security and safe care all the way home.
In HIA, we are also responsible for medical intermediate care (MIMA), a level of care between the ward and intensive care. Here, medical patients who have worsened in, for example, breathing or circulation are cared for, as well as patients who have left intensive care and need a step before returning to a regular ward.
If you do not have previous experience in cardiac intensive care, you will start in the ward and then be gradually introduced to HIA and MIMA. Regardless of background, you will quickly develop your knowledge in cardiology.
With us, you will work in a close and competent team together with nursing assistants, doctors, and other support professions such as occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and social workers. We always focus on the patient and strive to provide the best possible care together.
QUALIFICATIONS
We welcome both newly graduated and experienced nurses to the cardiology department/HIA, and here there is a workplace with a strong team spirit, great learning, and many development opportunities. We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse, preferably with experience in cardiac care, but this is not a requirement, and your willingness to learn and develop is the most important. You have a positive attitude, thrive in a pace where a lot is happening, and appreciate working in a team. Good collaboration and communication skills are seen as obvious parts of the role. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
We apply ongoing selection, so do not wait to submit your application. Warm welcome!
