JOB DESCRIPTION

Would you like to work in one of our kitchens this summer? We are now looking for summer substitutes for our kitchens in Malung-Sälen Municipality, including central Malung, Lima, Transtrand, and Sälen.

We are looking for someone who wants to work as a substitute in kitchen and meal services this summer, enjoys cooking, and wants to contribute good meals for children and youth as well as for the elderly care. We also seek those who can assist in the kitchen with lighter tasks such as dishwashing, cleaning, salad preparation, baking, etc.

As a summer substitute with us, you are an important part of our kitchen team. You will help with:

• Preparation and/or cooking of food
• Serving meals
• Preparing special diets based on the needs of children and the elderly in elderly care.
• Daily cleaning and dishwashing
• Self-control and food hygiene
• Possibly ordering goods and handling food waste

QUALIFICATIONS

We primarily seek chefs, but also meal assistants and anyone who can cook good food and wants to contribute their commitment in the kitchen. We are also looking for meal assistants to help with preparations and during meals in the kitchens.

You preferably have an education in large-scale cooking or restaurant management, for example from high school or another equivalent education. Experience working in large kitchens and/or restaurants is an advantage, as is knowledge of special diets, self-control programs, and food hygiene.

It is also a plus if you have computer skills and previous experience with ordering goods.
