About the position

We are looking for someone who wants to work as part of a team in our school kitchen. Working hours are mainly during the day and on weekdays. Occasional weekend work may occur during special events, especially in the summer.

You will work alongside two other chefs and a kitchen assistant in a dynamic environment with many different guests. The school has a wide range of educational programs, which requires staff to have a sense of service and the ability to meet different personalities and needs.

Experience from restaurants, large kitchens, school kitchens, or folk high schools is an advantage but not a requirement – the most important thing is that you have a desire to contribute with your skills and engagement.

We apply a 6-month probationary period.

Responsibilities:

• Daily cooking and serving
• Ensuring that hygiene and safety regulations are followed
• Participation in everyday kitchen tasks, we work in teams.
• Contribute to a pleasant environment in the dining room

Responsibilities may also include participating in joint staff meetings, catering, conferences, summer activities, business development, etc.
