Stöten offers the most varied and challenging skiing in all of Sälen. With the highest vertical drop of 398 meters and a complete ski system, we are an obvious choice for beginners, families, and experienced skiers alike. We are growing rapidly and investing heavily in new lifts, more accommodations, better snow systems, and more slopes – all to meet the increasing demand fueled by the Scandinavian Mountain Airport.
As the Reception and Guest Service Manager at Stöten i Sälen AB, you will be a key person in our guests' overall experience. Your main task is to always put the guest first and, together with your team, create memorable stays – with service and structure at the center.
About the role
In the role of Reception and Guest Service Manager, you will lead the Reception & Guest Service team and be responsible for creating clear routines, effective working methods, and good conditions for both employees and guests. You will work closely with other departments to drive matters, develop collaborations, and enhance the Stöten experience.
You are an important part of our guests' first and last impressions – and an ambassador for Stöten.
Your responsibilities
As the Reception Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting and guiding employees in their daily work
- Creating routines, job descriptions, and manuals
- Managing compensations and complaint handling
- HR administration and recruitment
Who are you?
We are looking for a confident and engaged leader with a strong service focus. You thrive in a role where you can combine leadership, structure, and operational work. You are solution-oriented, communicative, and have an easy time collaborating – both within the team and with other departments.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is passionate about service and enjoys creating truly satisfied guests
- Thrives in a varied role where no two days are the same
- Is structured, meticulous, and enjoys having order and clarity
- Has an easy time building relationships, both internally and externally
- Is fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Has several years of experience in sales within the tourism industry and handling tour operators and agents
- Is computer literate and comfortable with MS Office
- Preferably has experience with the booking system R360 (meriting)
Experience in service, reception, hotels, tourism, or similar is an advantage, as is previous personnel responsibility – but the most important thing is your attitude and willingness to develop together with us.
