Head Waiter

As a head waiter, you are the spider in the web of the restaurant.

You are responsible for planning the day and supporting & leading your colleagues during service to take care of our guests in the best possible way. You ensure that all restaurant staff collaborates smoothly as we often have multiple restaurant sections running throughout the day. The role includes close cooperation with our other departments.

Job Description

• Daily and weekly planning of bookings and events
• Team leader during shifts
• Quality assurance of delivery to guests
• Actively participate in training and development of staff
• Some scheduling
• Daily communication with other departments to ensure even guest flows
• Responsible for ensuring that routines as well as laws are followed in the workplace
• Actively participate in service

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience and interest in bar operations
• Familiarity with systems, e.g., Visbook and Trivec.
• Experience in combined hotel and restaurant operations
