A regular job. But more wiiie! Since 1923, we have brought people together to meet, laugh, and enjoy each other's company. Soon it will be your turn to join us. With us, you don't just work in an amusement park – you work in a whole world of experiences: rides, music, good food, hotels, shows, gardens, camping – and soon a brand new water world. We are open year-round, in different seasons and at different paces – but the joy is always there. And it is you who helps create it. Here, the job is both big and small, ordinary and wiiie, full of speed but with room for reflection. A regular job. But more wiiie!
We offer you this (and a little more!)
Everyday and wiiie. Here, the job is both fun and real. You make a difference – whether you work right in the pulse or behind the scenes.
Colleagues and neighborhood feel. Here, there are experts on everything from spinning rides to smart Excel documents. Different jobs, different corners of the same warm neighborhood.
Value before profit. We are owned by the city. What you do contributes to something bigger than ourselves.
Courage and method. We try new things – but always with sustainability in focus. Being at the forefront requires both ideas and reflection. Here, we have both.
You are one of the team As a Breakfast and Conference Host, you are part of the unit that creates memorable experiences for our guests through good service and a pleasant environment. The role involves a lot of personal responsibility and independent work, where you plan, prioritize, and drive the work forward to ensure our guests have a good start to the day with a welcoming breakfast experience. At the same time, you ensure that our conference guests are met with a professional approach and well-prepared facilities.
You collaborate with wonderful colleagues in reception, cleaning, and property management - but you are also comfortable working independently as large parts of the shifts involve solo work. You are an important part of a close-knit team where job satisfaction, service spirit, and collaboration are central as we together create Lisebergsbyn's guest experience.
About Lisebergsbyn Lisebergsbyn offers about 150 camping sites and over 90 permanent accommodations distributed among cabins, hostels, and bed & breakfast. There are also three conference rooms used for conferences and festive events. The facility is located in a green environment, just 10 minutes from central Gothenburg, with proximity to nature in Skatås and the Delsjö area. This is what a typical day looks like Today's to-do: create magic – and make our guests' morning a little better. You do this by:
Welcoming and taking care of our breakfast and conference guests with a professional and warm hospitality.
Preparing, cooking, and presenting the breakfast buffet and snacks, including simple hot and cold dishes and some baking.
Ensuring that the kitchen, dining room, and conference rooms are set up, clean, and follow current hygiene routines.
Ordering, inventorying, and following up on goods and actively working to reduce food waste.
Cleaning, restoring facilities, handling error reports, and contributing to the development of the operation and training of new colleagues.
Do we fit together With us at Liseberg, being alone is not strong, and putting colleagues and guests first is a given for you. We are looking for someone who shares our values; care, creativity, safety, quality, and joy, and with these, you want to help create Liseberg.
Do you have what it takes for the ride?
High school education, preferably in hotel & restaurant, or equivalent experience, and at least 1–2 years of experience in service work within hotels, conferences, camping, or restaurants.
Experience in cooking and baking as well as basic knowledge of food hygiene, special diets, and allergens.
Strong service sense with an understanding of hospitality, quality, and basic restaurant economics.
Good knowledge of Swedish and English.
Good computer skills.
A high degree of independence and responsibility - you are confident in planning, making decisions, and taking your own initiatives as the work largely involves solo work, while also collaborating well when the team is present and the pace is high.
To thrive in the role, we believe you enjoy meeting people and providing service with warmth. You have a positive attitude, take responsibility, and contribute to a good atmosphere. You like order, take your own initiatives, and are comfortable working independently. You have an eye for detail, thrive in both high and calm tempos – and appreciate being part of a creative and helpful team.
We welcome applicants with diverse backgrounds and experiences as we strive for broad representation in the organization.
