Join our kitchen team this summer!

Norrqvarn has been an attractive tourist destination for many years, with guests both nationally and internationally visiting to experience and enjoy the Göta Canal, nature, activities, good food, and create wonderful memories. Norrqvarn is a perfect base to explore the surrounding area. We offer a variety of accommodations: hotel rooms, glamping tents, unique stumps, and mushrooms. The summer restaurant serves food all day, from breakfast to lunch to dinner. There is also a popular mini canal, ice cream kiosk, and bike and canoe rentals on site.

Would you like to work in a summer restaurant in a beautiful environment where the days fly by? Are you interested in cooking, able to collaborate well with your colleagues, and care about providing our guests with a fantastic experience? We are looking for kitchen assistants who enjoy a fast-paced environment, service, and being part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Basic preparations, cooking, and replenishing food
• Plating dishes
• Preparing ingredients such as chopping and portioning
• Ensuring food quality is high
• Cleaning and maintaining order in restaurant areas
• Assisting wherever needed – we are a team!

We are looking for someone who

• Has energy, is positive, and has an interest in kitchen work
• Is meticulous, responsible, and has an eye for detail
• Enjoys working in a team and following instructions
• Can handle a fast-paced environment at times
• Can work evenings and weekends during the season
• Speaks English fluently (Swedish is a plus)

Experience?

Preferred, but not required – we recruit mainly based on personality and attitude.

Requirement for reliable commuting: either own car or walking/cycling distance.
