Do you want to work near Gustavsfors Lock by the Dalsland Canal? Here you are in the heart of nature, surrounded by lakes and forests, meeting canoeists and boat tourists from all over Europe. We are now looking for a cheerful and service-oriented café staff member for our ice cream café Elviras kanalglass during the month of August!

About the job

As a café staff member with us, you will be an important part of the guests' experience. You will serve snacks, coffee, ice cream, and simple meals – always with a smile.

The work involves:

• Sales and cash handling
• Serving ice cream, coffee, and simple dishes
• Cleaning dishes and keeping the café tidy and pleasant
• Restocking and organizing in the café
• Daily contact with our national and international guests
• The workplace is Elviras kanalglass (by the lock in Gustavsfors)

The pace can be high, especially on sunny days – but that’s when it’s the most fun!

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who:

• Is positive, social, and enjoys providing good service
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Can take responsibility and work independently
• Enjoys meeting many different people every day
• Is at least 16 years old
• Speaks Swedish and English; other languages are a plus

Previous experience in a café, kiosk, or service is a plus – but not a requirement. The right attitude and energy are the most important!

Employment period & working hours

• Working hours are 6 days a week, 11 AM - 5 PM
• The position is primarily during August, but there is also an opportunity for work on certain days in July and September
• Salary according to agreement
