We are looking for a sous chef for a hotel on the west coast.

In the role of sous chef, you will act as the kitchen manager's right hand with both operational and creative responsibilities, stepping into the kitchen manager's role when needed. You will lead the daily work in the kitchen and ensure high quality, good structure, and a pleasant working environment.

Examples of tasks:

Lead and distribute the daily work in the kitchen

Ensure high standards of food, presentation, and hygiene

Be involved in menu development with a focus on locally sourced, sustainability, and seasonal variations

Be responsible for ingredient management and help minimize waste

Work with cost control and efficient resource use

Support and develop the kitchen team in daily operations

We are looking for someone who:

Has experience as a sous chef or in a leadership role in the kitchen

Is structured, responsible, and solution-oriented

Has a genuine interest in cooking, quality, and sustainability

Is a confident leader who motivates and engages your team

Thrives in a dynamic environment and can handle a fast pace
