Your role

As a chef at Fridaskolan Kallebäck, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and serving meals that maintain high quality and inspire joy in food. You play an important role in creating a positive dining experience for our students and contribute to developing the school's kitchen with a focus on taste, variety, and nutritious content.

The work involves being involved in the entire kitchen process, from planning and preparation to cooking, serving, and cleaning up. You will work alongside colleagues in the kitchen but are also expected to take significant personal responsibility in daily tasks.

You will also be a visible adult in the students' everyday lives. At Fridaskolan, we see all adults as important role models. Meeting students with respect, clarity, and security is a vital part of the mission, whether working in the classroom or the kitchen.

You will also interact with guardians in daily life and be part of the school's community. Therefore, your ability to create good relationships and contribute to a positive climate at the school is important.

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience in cooking where taste, quality, and ingredient management are central, preferably á la carte.
• Is taste-savvy and has a genuine interest in food and dining experiences.
• Is a confident and stable adult who enjoys working in an environment with children and young people.
• Sees the value in all adults at the school contributing to relationships with students and guardians.
• Is meticulous, responsible, and can plan your work independently.
• Has a knack for collaboration and contributes to a good atmosphere in the workplace.
• Is flexible and sees what needs to be done in everyday life.
• Is proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Experience working in a kitchen with high demands for taste and quality is an advantage.

Extent: 100 %
Location: Fridaskolan Kallebäck
Employment type: Temporary position from April 10, 2026, until the end of the term, with the possibility of extension.
