Vasahemmet

Vasahemmet is a nursing home located in central Gothenburg. We have been here for 50 years and have a wonderful atmosphere.

We have 51 elderly residents divided over five floors. One of the units is for individuals with dementia. The other floors provide traditional nursing home care. We have our own kitchen with 3 chefs who serve excellent home-cooked meals.

Vasahemmet is a non-profit nursing home run by the Rescue Mission with Christian values.

We are looking for

We are currently seeking summer substitutes for our kitchen. We are looking for someone who is a chef or has equivalent skills with experience in cooking and working in small or large kitchens. You need to be able to work at least 4-8 weeks during the summer when our regular staff is on vacation.

We wish for you to be a secure and warm person with your work focus always directed towards achieving good results. You are diligent, meticulous, flexible, and contribute to creating a pleasant atmosphere in our kitchen. You are a good colleague and help to create joy at work.

Your tasks will consist of cooking and practical work in Vasahemmet's kitchen with a focus on good quality for our elderly residents.

You should have a strong interest in working with food. Personal suitability will be given great importance.
