Responsibilities

The position focuses on the client's responsibility for occupational health, quality, risk, as well as electrical and traffic safety. You will be one of the region's specialists in the field, supporting maintenance projects in these matters and driving improvement work around internal working methods.

Within the Quality and Safety section, we are about 10 employees. Together with your colleagues, you will be an important part of the governance of the region's project operations. You will work to support, implement, and follow up on maintenance projects through, among other things, follow-ups and reviews within roads, railways, and construction works in the central region. As a specialist, you will work closely with the projects and contribute practically to various tasks, which means you will be involved in several parallel projects.

With us, you will have a central role in the strategic work of continuous improvements of processes and working methods and participate in our business development. You contribute to a good safety culture by promoting a systematic approach where goals are achieved, requirements are managed, risks in the operations are under control, and corrective actions are implemented.

In the section, there are three colleagues who have the same specialist role. You will have close collaboration and exchange with them, including joint planning and coordination. In addition, you will also have many other contact points both internally and externally, both in the projects and with specialists in other maintenance regions as well as with colleagues in the group, including those in environment, operational protection, and preparedness.

Qualifications

Who are you?

To be successful in this position, it is important that you are communicative, pedagogical, and have an easy time collaborating. You enjoy working with many different project members and assignments simultaneously, where you build trusting relationships through clarity, solution focus, and an unpretentious approach.

As a specialist, you also need to be analytical and structured with the ability to see the big picture, plan, and execute tasks that lead to desired results. You are proactive and suggest measures that improve and develop the operations.

Your background

We are looking for someone with relevant work experience in establishing and leading follow-ups and controls in at least two of the areas of occupational health, safety, risk, and/or quality, preferably in a larger organization where you have supported several parallel or more complex projects. You are therefore accustomed to interpreting and applying the laws and regulations applicable in each area. Training such as BAS P/U and/or SoS training (safety and security leader in railways) is considered a plus.

In addition to the above, you have

• A university degree focused on occupational health, safety, or risk and quality, or other education combined with experience that is deemed equivalent
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• A valid driver's license (B), as travel in the job is required

We consider it an advantage if you also have relevant experience in

• working on roads and/or railways
• working with occupational health issues and the client's responsibility for occupational health
• infrastructure projects within roads, railways, or construction works
• qualified work with electrical and/or traffic safety
• working with quality management and business development
