JOB DESCRIPTION
As a correctional officer with a functional assignment in the control group, you will be responsible for the security work at VO Mariefred. Your role is operational and supervisory, and you will guide colleagues in security matters. The assignment involves being the alarm manager and planning and executing interventions in collaboration with the security organization. Your functional assignment also includes carrying out transport assignments and permissions, participating in staffing central guard/access control, working with the prison's isolation department, and participating in and leading training activities at the prison.
The control group is an available resource for the entire VO Mariefred, and you will participate in other correctional work as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with good physical and mental health, a strong interest and commitment to security work, and good ability to collaborate with others. You have a pedagogical ability and are skilled at educating and teaching. You plan your work effectively and adhere to given deadlines. Flexibility and a solution-focused approach are essential.

You are also aware of and understand how background, culture, and group affiliation affect yourself and others. We are looking for someone who has:
- Approved correctional education
- Well-rated experience in correctional work that the employer deems relevant
- Good computer skills
- Driver's license (B) with good driving experience
It is meritorious if you have:
- Approved alarm manager training
- The Swedish Prison and Probation Service's instructor training with qualifications in one or more areas such as self-defense, legal authority, OC, baton, intervention, negotiation
- Knowledge in relevant areas such as behavioral science, security work, social care, psychiatry, law, and conflict management
- Training in access control
- Relevant language skills
