We are looking for an experienced DevSecOps Engineer for an assignment with Quest's client. The work at the client takes place in a Linux environment, developing and maintaining robust environments and platforms for data flows, data storage, and end-user platforms. The assignment focuses on designing, implementing, and further developing secure CI/CD pipelines in GitHub and GitLab. The work includes integrating security controls throughout the development chain, including static and dynamic code analysis, dependency checks, container and image scanning, as well as secure handling of secrets. You are responsible for ensuring that the pipelines meet applicable security requirements, regulatory requirements, and established best practices, while contributing to increased automation, traceability, and robustness in the delivery processes.

Mandatory Requirements:

• At least 5 years of work experience in DevSecOps or SRE, including system administration and responsibility for secure delivery and operational environments.
• At least 5 years of experience working with Linux in production environments with hardening and stability requirements.
• At least 5 years of experience in monitoring and logging, including usage for incident management, troubleshooting, and security follow-up.
• At least 3 years of experience in Infrastructure as Code for establishing and managing environments with built-in security controls.
• At least 3 years of experience with GitLab/GitHub CI/CD, including design and implementation of pipelines with integrated security controls.
  

Preferred Requirements:

• Work experience in on-premise environments with high information security requirements, including handling of sensitive or protected information.
• Previous work experience in assignments within government agencies or other publicly governed organizations with regulatory security requirements.
• Work experience in IAC (Terraform, Ansible) in production environments.
• Work experience in operation, management, and secure configuration of internal on-premise Kubernetes platforms.
• Work experience with centralized logging and logging platforms for operations, troubleshooting, and security follow-up.
