The Role

We are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager with solid experience in project management within government and municipal operations. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of successfully driving and completing projects within the public sector. You will be the key person in leading and implementing IT initiatives to support our government and municipal partners. As a project manager, you will play a central role in the various phases of projects. Through your leadership, you will plan and drive projects forward while ensuring the delivery of the highest quality, on schedule and within budget. You are responsible for leading the development of goals and strategies, ensuring progress towards the desired outcome, and supporting key individuals in change initiatives. As the key contact for project stakeholders, including authorities and partners, you will contribute to the journey of digitizing our society.

Experience

We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest and understanding of IT and technology. You are skilled at finding creative solutions to get things done efficiently. Taking ownership, being structured, and being effective in your work are givens for you. Furthermore, you motivate your team by being a communicative, pedagogical, and unpretentious leader who spreads positive energy.

• At least 9 years of experience as an IT Project Manager

• Preferably at least 5 years of experience working in the public sector

• Current documented experience of independently driving larger IT projects

• Can communicate fluently in Swedish and English

• University degree or other relevant education.
