Description

Kil Municipality is looking for a Digital Guide to strengthen digital participation and combat digital exclusion.

The assignment involves providing individualized support to residents who have difficulty managing digital contacts with authorities, banks, and other community actors. The goal is for everyone to have equal opportunities to access community services and feel secure in the digital development.

Responsibilities

As a Digital Guide, you will have a guiding and pedagogical role where you primarily support seniors and individuals in need of special assistance to become more digitally independent. You will show, guide, and direct individuals to the right support based on their needs. The assignment also includes mapping needs, developing methods for digital inclusion, and collaborating with the municipality's various operations and external actors. The library's digital assistance is a close partner. The role combines technical guidance with pedagogical support.

Qualifications

• You have broad digital basic competence and are comfortable using mobile phones, computers, apps, and digital communication tools.
• You have a good ability to explain, support, and create security for others, as well as an interest in reducing digital divides and strengthening people's participation.
• Completed high school education from the care program or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent.
• Preferably with post-secondary education in IT, pedagogy, social work, or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent.
• Good digital competence and experience with smartphones, tablets, and computers.
• Comfortable receiving and speaking in front of individuals and groups. Work outwardly and conduct home visits.
• Ability to pedagogically convey digital knowledge at the individual's level.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish in speech.

Meritorious

• Experience working with the elderly or individuals with disabilities.
• Experience in mentoring, training, or user support.
• Knowledge of public e-services.
• Be flexible, driven, cooperative, and accustomed to working towards a goal together.
• Understand and manage risks in digital environments.

A B driver's license is a requirement for the position, and we place great emphasis on personal suitability.
