Here you will work in a small close-knit team with a beautiful view of Lake Fryken.

Your workplace

The Dialysis Unit is located at Torsby Hospital with a view of Lake Fryken and is a branch of Karlstad, thus the operation belongs to the inpatient care of Karlstad. Here you will meet sick patients daily who are in need of kidney replacement treatment, known as hemodialysis.

We are a smaller group of employees who all work in teams to meet the individual patient's needs during a dialysis treatment. The unit has a total of 10 treatment places and the working hours are daytime from Monday to Saturday.

We conduct planned operations, but sometimes perform urgent dialysis treatments on our patients if needed. We always work together with and based on the individual needs of the patient.

The position is a one-year temporary contract, with the possibility of extension.

Your tasks

As a nurse with us, you will take care of kidney patients before, during, and after a dialysis treatment together with your colleagues. The nurse leads and is responsible for the dialysis treatments.

During your work, you will handle technical equipment, so it is good if you have an interest in technology. You will be individually trained for about 10 weeks.

Your skills and competencies

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. We welcome both newly graduated and those with documented experience.

You take responsibility for your work and work independently and in an organized manner. For us, it is important that you take initiative, can adapt to changing circumstances, and have the entire operation in mind when making decisions and taking action. You have good collaboration skills and a professional attitude towards both patients, relatives, and colleagues.
