Your Workplace

We are now looking for a ST physician for Kristinehamn Health Center, which has approximately 14,000 registered patients. About 50 people work here with a wide range of professions. Our medical team consists of six specialists, four ST physicians, two AT physicians, and one junior physician. In addition, we have a well-staffed group of district nurses, registered nurses, nursing assistants, social workers, psychologists, medical administrators, podiatrists, and dietitians.

We have nice premises in what was previously Kristinehamn Hospital. In the same building, there are labs, X-ray, outpatient rehabilitation with physiotherapists and occupational therapists, community care department, pharmacy, pediatric medicine, and public dental care. Kristinehamn is a city with good train and bus connections, close to larger cities but also to our beautiful archipelago.

At Kristinehamn Health Center, there is a strong sense of community, where we work closely together and value both quality and accessibility. A good collaborative climate is important to us.

Your Responsibilities

With us, you will have a challenging and exciting job with good opportunities for broad training within the specialty. Your training will be tailored in consultation with your supervisor.

You will work with common tasks such as planned and acute visits, serve as a consulting physician, and supervise students. The physicians at the health center have different areas of responsibility such as child health care, maternal health care, and rounds at our nursing homes, which will be part of your training. Furthermore, collaborative cases with the municipality are included.

The position is a permanent employment, and a probationary period may apply.
