Welcome to the nephrology clinic and our fine dialysis unit at the hospital in Arvika.

The operation is part of the area of medical specialties. We are a wonderful group looking for a new colleague. With us, you will work in a pleasant working environment with stimulating tasks and good opportunities for professional development.

At the dialysis unit, there are a total of 12 patient places where patients come to receive their kidney replacement treatment (hemodialysis). Our working hours are Monday to Friday day (07:00-15:30) and Saturday (07:00-15:00).

The position includes a temporary contract with the possibility of extension.

Your tasks

As a nurse, you will lead and be responsible for hemodialysis treatments, plan and organize the daily operations, and be the main responsible person for patients regarding rounds and sampling. Nurses and nursing assistants work in teams around the patients where they have good support from each other.

The dialysis unit has planned operations. The majority of patients have chronic kidney failure and need hemodialysis treatment several times a week, so as an employee here, you will have close contact with the patients. Since the work involves handling technical equipment, it is good if you have a certain technical interest. The training is individually adapted over 10-12 weeks, and you will have two main supervisors.

Your skills and competencies

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. Experience in the profession is an advantage but not a requirement.

As a person, you have good collaboration skills and enjoy working together with others as well as independently. We see that you are meticulous and quality-conscious while considering the bigger picture and the best interests of the entire operation in your way of acting and making decisions.
