Scandinavian Gastro Clinic is a specialized healthcare provider that started in the spring of 2014. We work with specialized care in gastrointestinal and liver diseases. Our clinics have specialized in Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), but also investigate unclear abdominal complaints and cancers in the gastrointestinal tract.

In addition to gastroenterology, we offer services in general surgery and proctology. We also have a dietitian in our team.

Our patients mainly come through health insurance and privately. We also accept patients through agreements with regions.

We are located in Mölndal, Karlstad, and Malmö.

Scandinavian Gastro Clinic in Karlstad conducts endoscopy services on behalf of Region Värmland and has agreements with several insurance companies. We also provide general medicine and general surgery. Our team in Karlstad consists of specialists, nurses, and nursing assistants.

Responsibilities

As a nurse, you will be responsible for preparations, assisting in examinations, and other procedures. The work also includes handling and maintaining instruments, materials, and medical technical equipment, as well as some administration. You will rotate between various tasks such as working in examination rooms, patient care, administrative tasks, and reception work, providing a varied and developing workday.

The position is technically oriented and requires accuracy and a structured approach. We are now looking for someone who is service-oriented and cares about providing a good reception.

As a nurse with endoscopy experience, you are an important part of the team.

Your work will include:

• Independently and as part of a team assist in endoscopic examinations.
• Assist in surgical procedures within proctology and general-minor surgery.
• Be responsible for patient care and safety throughout the care process.
• Participate in referral management and other administrative tasks.

Qualifications

Requirements

We are looking for a licensed nurse with permission to work within Swedish healthcare. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

Meritorious

For the position, work experience as a nurse and experience from endoscopy clinics or an interest in learning are required.

Since the work is done in close collaboration with other professional groups, good teamwork skills are essential. You have an interest in medical technology, take responsibility for your work, and are engaged in your mission. Furthermore, you work meticulously and are flexible, proactive, and solution-oriented.

Other

The clinic operates during the day, with evening and weekend work possible. However, the position is mainly scheduled during the day.
