About the Organization

Primary care is the foundation of healthcare in Värmland, and we exist to provide good and close care to everyone in Värmland throughout all stages of life.

The Skoghall Health Center, located in Hammarö municipality, is a well-functioning health center with experienced and dedicated staff. We have approximately 16,700 registered patients and around 50 employees. At the health center, various professions work together in teams to offer our patients good care.

We maintain good and close contact between our different professional groups, which is an important part of our operations. The health center is led by two unit managers. Together with inpatient care and the municipalities, we work for seamless care for our shared patients.

At Skoghall Health Center, several doctors are involved in research. This means that we contribute to the development of care and create better conditions for our patients by improving care quality.

At the health center, we offer our patients various services, including medical consultations, diabetes care, asthma/COPD care, hypertension care, heart failure care, district nurse consultations, nurse consultations, nursing assistant consultations, mole consultations, counseling, CBT, psychologists, rehabilitation coordinators, and laboratory services.

We provide individual and joint professional development. We are a health-promoting workplace and offer wellness compensation with a wide range of options for which one can apply for reimbursement.

Your Responsibilities

We are now looking for a district nurse/nurse who wants to work alongside experienced general practitioners, training doctors, district nurses, nurses, nursing assistants, healthcare administrators, CBT therapists, and psychologists.

We follow patients through all stages of life. You will, among other things, work with your own clinic, infusion clinic, and telephone advice. You will be part of a team with other nurses, doctors, healthcare administrators, and nursing assistants. The job also includes being part of our on-call service.

At the health center, physiotherapists, rehabilitation coordinators, and the Wellness in Värmland program also work closely with us. We maintain good and close contact between our different professional groups, which is an important part of our operations.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for someone who is a trained district nurse/nurse and has experience working in a health center. You are used to working independently, are confident in your professional role, and are interested in providing high medical quality. You are responsible and have a structured working method. You find it easy to collaborate and want to actively contribute to our development while demonstrating a good attitude and organizational skills.

It is an advantage if you have knowledge and/or additional training in diabetes, asthma/COPD, heart failure, and/or hypertension.
