The Kronoparken Health Center is a large health center with approximately 15,500 registered patients.

The health center is located next to Karlstad University, in the largest district of Karlstad. There are good bus connections and a nice bike path to the city center, approximately 6 km away.

In addition to general practitioners, there are ST doctors, AT doctors, district nurses/nurses, nursing assistants, medical administrators, podiatrists, psychologists, and social workers. Under the same roof, there are also laboratories and physiotherapy and occupational therapy clinics that we collaborate with.

The Kronoparken Health Center is an academic health center, making students a natural part of the operation. Supervision of medical candidates and AT doctors may therefore be included in the assignment.

We are a health-promoting workplace, which among other things means one hour of physical activity per week during working hours. Surrounding the health center is beautiful nature with illuminated trails and Lake Alstern nearby, allowing for recreation. Our employees and the work environment are important to us! Your Tasks

As an ST doctor at the Kronoparken Health Center, you will have strong support from your colleagues in your development towards becoming a specialist. We have regular collegial meetings, and you will have an appointed supervisor with designated supervision time in your schedule.

We will offer you a clear assignment with your own patients. Ensuring continuity for patients is something we focus on, as well as high availability with open phone hours to doctors every day.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for a licensed physician with a genuine interest in general medicine and the qualifications to work within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are a requirement for the position.

Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities; it is important to us that you are positive and have a pleasant demeanor towards both patients and colleagues. We are looking for someone who values quality and wants to be involved in the operations' assignments and development work. To thrive and succeed in the role, you need to have high medical general competence and a strong drive to become a certified specialist in general medicine. You also need to have the ability to actively participate in various learning situations.

In your work approach, you take initiative, work in a structured manner, and make well-founded decisions, while also having an empathetic and attentive demeanor. You communicate well verbally and possess analytical and problem-solving skills that support making well-founded decisions.
