The health center has about 14,000 registered patients. Approximately 50 people work here with a range of professions; doctors, district and registered nurses, nursing assistants, social workers, psychologists, medical administrators, and foot therapists. We have spacious facilities in what was previously Kristinehamn Hospital. In the same building, there are labs, X-ray, outpatient rehabilitation with physiotherapists and occupational therapists, a nursing department, a pharmacy, pediatrics, dietitians, and public dental care.

Your Tasks

We are now looking for a junior doctor to complement our wonderful staff group.

Your tasks include planned and unplanned visits, in close collaboration with other professionals. You will receive supervision from one of our knowledgeable and caring specialists who has extensive experience with training doctors. The current staff group consists of five general practitioners, four ST doctors, and one junior doctor. The work environment is a high priority for us.

The position is a temporary contract with the possibility of extension or the opportunity to proceed with ST/BT.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for a licensed doctor, alternatively approved up to and including term 10 or further in your medical studies. If you are graduated or licensed from a non-European country, you must have the right to work as a doctor in Sweden. If you are studying medicine abroad, the requirement is that you study within the EU. You also have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

The role requires you to be confident and responsible, have the ability to create good relationships and collaborate in a team, and show good judgment in your assessments and decisions. You have good communication skills and are quality-conscious and meticulous in everything you do.
