Our 1800 employees work with close care and health in Uppsala County. We offer a wide range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own health centers or within habilitation, and we provide advice over the phone via 1177. Education, research, and development are important to us, as we adapt our offerings based on the needs of the residents. We already offer mobile teams, video visits, and smart e-services.

Your Mission

With us, you will work closely with all professions at the health center and in teams. Your tasks will consist of outpatient work with good opportunities for other stimulating tasks such as mentoring BT/AT/ST doctors and responsibility for various clinical processes based on interest. As part of the job, you will also be involved in developing our operations, and there are good opportunities to influence work arrangements and scheduling, thus allowing you to impact your work environment. Some on-call/standby duties are included, as is the case throughout primary care in Region Uppsala. We also offer the possibility to work partially remotely.

Your Competence

We are looking for you who are a physician with specialist competence in general medicine, with a Swedish license and good ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written. Since we are now at a stage where we have great opportunities to develop our operations, it is advantageous if you have an interest in healthcare development with a focus on patients and patient flows. It is also beneficial if you enjoy working in teams around patients with other professionals to create efficient flows. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

Our Operations

Heby Health Center is part of the management Close Care and Health, Region Uppsala, and is located in western Uppland with about 7,000 listed patients, and we are 30 employees working in teams. Our operations are broad, and all professional areas within the health center's mission are represented. We also have a youth clinic.

Here at Heby Health Center, we work to maintain a good work environment with a "high ceiling" and satisfied patients. We work in close collaboration between all professions, and a guiding principle is "freedom under responsibility," where there is great opportunity to influence your work situation as long as the organization's goals are met. The wide variety of patients creates a stimulating and developing workplace. We have diabetes, asthma/COPD, and heart failure nurses with their own clinics, a geriatric clinic, and a district nurse who works with hypertension patients. We also work with targeted health conversations for 40-year-olds.
