Are you curious about a workplace where variation, team spirit, and development are at the core?

Then the Rehabilitation Unit at the Surgical Clinic may be the right place for you! Here, there is a strong drive forward, an open climate, and opportunities to influence your own and the organization’s development.

We are now looking for one last reinforcement for the team – after that, we will be fully staffed. Whether you are new or experienced, the most important thing is that you want to make a difference!

Job Responsibilities

As an occupational therapist with us, you will work with assessment, treatment, and follow-up of patients in both inpatient and outpatient care. You will meet patients in various care processes and use your expertise to create the best possible conditions for recovery and independence.

The rehabilitation unit is jointly responsible for occupational therapy interventions across several clinics within the hospital, providing both variation and a broad competence base. You have a clear assignment within your area and work closely with both your occupational therapy colleagues and other professional categories in the team – together you contribute to a constantly evolving organization.

Your role also includes supervising occupational therapy students and participating in development work that contributes to safe and modern patient care.

About the Workplace

The Surgical Clinic’s Rehabilitation Unit consists of a group of occupational therapists and physiotherapists, along with a unit manager, who together are responsible for interventions at several clinics, including surgery, oncology, infection, women’s health, surgery, urology, vascular surgery, and ENT.

We have a close collaboration, share knowledge, and develop our working methods together. Our common ambition is to provide the best possible care – with the patient at the center and a focus on continuous learning.

It is important to us that you feel good and thrive at work; therefore, we offer you:

  • tailored introductory program with mentorship to help you feel secure in your professional role
  • opportunities for professional development through internal training
  • a workplace for all stages of life
  • possibility for some remote work during commuting after agreement with your immediate manager
  • free access to our fully equipped gym
  • wellness allowance of 3000 SEK/year

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist who preferably has previous experience in the profession. It is an advantage if you have experience working with patients within our area of responsibility. If you also have prescribing and webSesam training from the Assistive Technology Center, we see it as a plus. Since we work in the Cosmic and Link journal systems, it is beneficial if you have knowledge of both systems. As the role involves communicating with patients, relatives, and colleagues, we expect you to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

You who apply enjoy taking significant personal responsibility and can plan your work effectively. We see that you easily adapt to changing circumstances and maintain your composure even in more challenging situations. You take the initiative to get activities going and achieve results. You communicate clearly and have the ability to distinguish between the personal and the professional. As you work with many colleagues across different clinics, it is important that you are attentive and collaborate well with others.
