Job Responsibilities

As a nurse in lung day care, you will work both independently and as part of a team. You will assist in bronchoscopy, pleural tapping, and drainage. Your responsibilities also include pre- and post-care for biopsies. The role also involves handling new patient visits according to SVF (standardized care pathway) and following the care pathway until the investigation is completed.

The position is 50% contact nurse and 50% day care.

Lung day care is part of the Lung Clinic. It is aimed at patients being investigated for lung cancer and other lung diseases that require specialist care in our section.

Qualifications

We welcome you who are a licensed nurse and have at least 2 years of experience in the profession. Experience with lung diseases and outpatient work is considered an advantage. It is also beneficial if you have worked with the Cosmic journal system, TeleQ, and 1177. Our work is governed by documents that are often in Swedish, so you need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

You are a confident, stable person with good self-awareness. Collaboration and good communication come naturally to you, and in your role as a nurse, you lead and motivate others. As a person, you are structured, flexible, and quality-conscious.
