Job Responsibilities

At Ward 93, you are welcomed to a diverse workplace in both pace and tasks where we have an open work climate with a strong sense of community. We are a highly specialized healthcare facility and a workplace with extensive experience and specialist competence, where you as a nurse play an important role. You work closely in a team with 3 caregivers. Some nights are calm while others are more eventful. You have a central role as a team leader and are responsible for patient care. The role also involves a lot of contact and collaboration with the adult psychiatric emergency department. Contacts with other parts of the country and abroad may occur.

About the Workplace

Ward 93 PIVA unit is a psychiatric intensive care unit. We are tasked with receiving the most care-demanding patients, regardless of diagnosis, who need inpatient psychiatric care. In the PIVA unit, it may occur that patients are treated under coercion according to LPT and that coercive measures need to be taken. Patient safety and quality issues are constantly in focus to promote the best and safest care possible.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. It is an advantage if you have specialist training in psychiatry or have experience from working in psychiatric care or other healthcare. It is also a plus if you have knowledge of the Cosmic journal system. If you are a basic trained nurse, there is an opportunity to pursue specialist training with study salary in the future.
