Job Responsibilities

As a nurse with us at the Resource Unit, you will be part of our nursing staffing, which is a resource enhancement. There is an opportunity to work within most of the healthcare services, including psychiatry. Since our assignment is county-wide, we are also looking for individuals interested in working in Fagersta, Köping, and Sala.

With us, you will be welcomed to a workplace with good cohesion where you, as an employee, are important to us. The assignments vary from one-day work to longer assignments with the same client. As a nurse with us, you will eventually work in 5-7 different departments.

Your manager is close at hand and can always be approached with questions or if you just want to talk for a moment about your day. Together, we will develop the introduction you need, and as a nurse, you will also participate in the Resource Unit's regular workplace meetings and planning days.

About the Workplace

The Resource Unit is Region Västmanland's internal staffing unit with the task of providing staffing services of nurses, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries to the region's operations during absences.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed nurse with at least two years of experience in emergency care, or other experience deemed equivalent by the employer. Experience and knowledge of the journal data system Cosmic is an advantage, and you can handle computers as a working tool without any problems. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, as this is a prerequisite for ensuring patient-safe care.

You, who are applying, are flexible and enjoy having varied tasks. You are a calm and stable person who has the ability to work independently under your own responsibility. We see that you have a personal maturity that makes you feel secure in your professional role and that you behave in a way that is adapted to the situation. You enjoy working with other people and have good collaboration skills. Since the work involves patient contact, we see that you are empathetic and accommodating in your approach, with a willingness and ability to help others.

Employment Conditions

Permanent employment, general fixed-term employment, and hourly employment. Scheduled working hours are day, evening, and weekend or night shifts.
