Last autumn, we opened a new department with 12 care places and are now looking for nurses who want to help develop working methods, routines, and team culture from the ground up. Here, the work is characterized by openness, collaboration, and a strong patient focus.

Job Responsibilities

In nephrology, you will meet patients with, for example, acute/chronic kidney failure, vasculitis with kidney involvement, glomerulonephritis, nephrotic syndrome, uncompensated uremia, and PD peritonitis. You will receive training and competency certification in peritoneal dialysis (PD) and also care for patients before and after access surgery, biopsies, and kidney transplantation.

In endocrinology, it involves care and guidance for patients with newly diagnosed or difficult-to-regulate diabetes. You will also work with diagnoses such as Addison's disease, pituitary insufficiency, Cushing's disease, and hyponatremia of endocrine origin. Postoperative care after pituitary surgery is also included.

Working Hours and Flexibility

We offer individual scheduling with the possibility of reduced weekly working hours when rotating to night shifts, as well as other working time models. You also have the chance to rotate between the ward and outpatient clinic.

About the Workplace

The department is part of the medical clinic and receives patients with both acute and chronic diseases. Here you will have a broad, varied, and developing work field where you can deepen your competence in several specialties.

We work in interdisciplinary teams where you as a nurse collaborate closely with doctors, nursing assistants, coordinators, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, dietitians, and social workers.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Experience in nephrology, endocrinology, or internal medicine is an advantage, as is familiarity with the Cosmic journal system.

You are responsible, positive, and have a good approach towards patients, relatives, and colleagues. You thrive in a team, are flexible, and contribute to a good working atmosphere. We place great importance on personal suitability.

Employment Conditions

Permanent employment, 75–100%.

Start date according to agreement.
