Job Responsibilities

We work with the entire primary care assignment, and your work will therefore be varied with the breadth and variation of general medicine. Collaboration is important to us, and we value teamwork. Child health care is part of our area, and we also have close cooperation with the municipality's home healthcare and special accommodations. We are constantly working on development projects aimed at providing safe and secure care to our patients, as well as making visible the resources we have and managing them in the best possible way. The primary care centers have a clear focus on education, and as an ST physician in general medicine, you will receive a clear educational plan tailored to your needs. Ongoing supervision both at the health center and during your placement at various clinics provides the support needed for you to feel secure and grow in your role.

You will work both independently and as part of a team with other professional categories in the unit, and improvement work is an important part of the daily work.

About the Workplace

The 11 region-operated health centers in Västmanland, as well as the health centers' emergency clinics in Västmanland, are run as an intrapreneurship with a board and Region Västmanland as the owner. We have a common name, Närvården Västmanland, and we work together to provide our patients with the best primary care in the county. We continuously invest in the development of our workplaces to meet the future's primary care needs.

Närvården City is one of 11 health centers with over 15,000 registered patients. We offer work at a large and state-of-the-art health center centrally located in Västerås, within walking distance to the Travel Center. The business also has a branch clinic in Skultuna. Since all professional categories for a health center are gathered in the same building, we can offer our patients professional care and a good reception.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a Swedish medical license and good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.
• Can work independently but also together with various professional categories.
• Is responsible and understands the importance of good reception.
• Is flexible and wants to develop and improve the operations together with us.
• Is open to new knowledge and can serve as a knowledge resource for your colleagues.
• Can adapt your work, reception, and approach based on the patient and situation.
• Through good collaboration with management and colleagues, wants to contribute to creating participation and a good working environment.

Employment Conditions

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date according to agreement.

For those who will do basic service (BT) at the beginning of their ST, a temporary fixed-term employment may initially be relevant with the goal of the employment transitioning to a permanent position. If you have completed AT, we can offer you a permanent position as ST.
