Two Environmental Inspectors with a Focus on Environmental Protection and Health Protection

About the Positions

As an environmental inspector, you will be offered a varied and meaningful job with the opportunity to specialize in certain subject areas. You contribute to sustainable community development through your work. You will primarily work within the Environmental Code area, from supervision and assessment to information and advice. The work is characterized by both independent work and dialogue with operators and the public.

We are looking for two environmental inspectors.

One position focuses on supervision within environmental protection. The main tasks involve supervising environmentally hazardous activities, and there is an opportunity to specialize in various areas of supervision, including wind power.

The other position focuses on supervision within health protection, primarily supervising small sewage systems, but competence in indoor environment and waste management is also meritorious. Health protection mainly works project-oriented.

We are looking for someone who

• Has a university degree in environmental and health protection or another academic qualification deemed equivalent
• Is confident in the regulatory role and has the ability to make objective and factual assessments
• Can express themselves well in speech and writing and has good digital skills
• Has a B driver's license

Experience in supervision and work within the Environmental Code area is meritorious.

You enjoy working both independently and collaboratively, have a structured approach, good communication skills, and the ability to plan and prioritize effectively.
