Welcome to us at the specialist dental care and the departments of Apnea and Bite Physiology in Örebro. We are looking for someone who, together with other employees, wants to drive the unit's development into the future.

There are 6 employees working in the departments. You now have the chance to become part of our team in the department! We also have Dental Radiology/X-ray at the unit.

At Folktandvården's Specialist Dental Care, the following specialties are represented: Bite Physiology, Apnea, Endodontics, Dental Radiology, Orthodontics, Periodontology, Pedodontics, and Oral Prosthetics. We collaborate with the Jaw Surgery Clinic and have close cooperation in care, education, and research with the nearby University Hospital and Örebro University.

Folktandvården Region Örebro County actively works with preventive dental care and Frisktandvård, all to ensure that our county residents achieve the best possible oral health. We offer dental care at 21 general dental clinics and 8 specialist dental clinics. We have a dental laboratory, a public health unit, and an education and research unit closely linked to Örebro University. A total of about 600 employees work within Folktandvården Region Örebro County.

The position primarily involves assistance, instrument care, and administrative work. We also work with delegated tasks mainly in the form of digital impression taking, patient information/motivation.

You are a trained dental nurse and want to work with both pediatric and adult dental care. It is advantageous if you have documented experience in the dental nursing profession as well as experience in assistance. You master the Swedish language and express yourself well in both speech and writing. You have documented knowledge of Swedish corresponding to at least C1 level according to the Council of Europe's level scale.

As a dental nurse, you have a good sense of service, enjoy taking responsibility, and are self-sufficient in your professional role.

We work with digital record-keeping in Frenda, so you need to have good computer skills. We place great emphasis on personal qualities such as good collaboration and initiative skills. As a person, you are flexible and used to handling many different responsibilities.
