We are an outpatient clinic that performs hemodialysis for patients with reduced or ceased kidney function. Treatment is usually performed three times a week and takes about four hours. We belong to the medical clinic, specialized care, and primarily receive patients from the northern part of the county, but we have a close collaboration with other dialysis units in the region. The dialysis clinic has 9 dialysis stations and is open Monday to Saturday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We work to utilize the patient's self-care ability and participation to live the best possible life with chronic illness.

Lindesberg Hospital is one of the three acute hospitals in Örebro County. Here you will find all the advantages of a smaller hospital - a friendly and familiar atmosphere combined with efficiency and great expertise. The hospital has both clinics and outpatient units that are part of the Close Care Area as well as clinics that are cross-functional, meaning services that exist in all three hospitals in the county. As a nurse with us, your main task will be to perform dialysis treatments. The work also includes basic and specific nursing care for the patient.

Currently, each nurse is responsible for 2-3 patients. It is important for us to develop care to make care for kidney patients even better. The introduction includes 8 weeks with a clear training plan and fixed supervisors to help you feel secure in your new role as a dialysis nurse. Even after your introduction, there is always access to experienced colleagues.
