Within the Department of Periodontology/Implants, Prosthetics, and Endodontics, approximately 50 employees work in the professional categories of senior dentists, resident dentists, dental hygienists, and dental assistants. The main placement for the position is in the Periodontology department. We also regularly have temporary positions available in the form of qualification positions for general dentists and specialized training for dentists and dental hygienists. We are an educational unit for dentists in specialist training and also conduct research.

We offer dental care at 21 general dental clinics and 8 specialist dental clinics. We have a dental laboratory, a public health unit, and an education and research unit closely linked to Örebro University. A total of approximately 600 employees work within Folktandvården Region Örebro County.

Patients are regularly referred to the Department of Periodontology/Implants from both public and private general dental care. As a dental assistant, you have a strong sense of service, enjoy taking responsibility, and are self-sufficient in your professional role. We offer a varied and developing job with a patient clientele primarily consisting of adult patients, good colleagues, and opportunities for continuous development. The position includes assisting and back assisting in surgery, handling referrals, and calling patients. Work within the unit's various departments may occur.

We are looking for someone who is a trained dental assistant. You must be proficient in the Swedish language and express yourself well in both speech and writing. You have documented knowledge of Swedish corresponding to at least C1 level according to the Council of Europe's level scale.

We work with digital record-keeping in Frenda, so you need to have good computer skills. We place great emphasis on personal qualities such as good collaboration and initiative skills. As a person, you are flexible and accustomed to handling many different responsibilities.
