Warm welcome to the housing support in Farsta and operational area 8!

The operational area is led by a unit manager with committed and responsible staff who are now looking for a new colleague for the housing support group.

The housing support in Farsta is based in Gubbängen and the target group is adults aged 18 and over with mental and/or neuropsychiatric disabilities who have assistance decisions according to the Social Services Act.

The operational area consists of three units:

  • Housing Support
  • Emma Meeting Place
  • Studio.IT/IKIGAJ

Your role

As a housing supporter with planning responsibility, you will be based in the office in Gubbängen and have overall responsibility for the housing supporters' schedules and the unit's operational system. You are responsible for receiving and accepting orders, distributing new cases to staff, and monitoring the operational system (ParaSoL) and the unit's cases. You will report continuously to the unit manager.

Your skills and experience

For this position, you need:

  • Care education with a focus on psychiatry or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent
  • Experience working with the target group as a housing supporter or equivalent position
  • Very good computer skills (Office package)
  • Experience in schedule planning and coordination
  • Experience working in both public and private sectors
  • Experience with various operational systems, preferably ParaSoL

In working with the target group, it is important that you are attentive, empathetic, and have an understanding of various mental disabilities, their manifestations, and symptoms, but above all how to meet people with these conditions. In the role of housing supporter with planning responsibility, it is also important that you have good collaboration skills as you will have a lot of contact with both clients and colleagues. You also need to be strategic and self-driven as the role involves working independently. You are accustomed to working with finances, statistics, and planning.

Being structured, flexible, and pedagogical is just as important as being stable and resilient. As the operation is in a development phase, there are great opportunities for those interested in development work to influence the content of the operations.
