Retail Marketing Officer at Samsung

Samsung, a leading player in home electronics, is looking for a Retail Marketing Officer to drive innovative in-store communication for their appliance portfolio. You will play a key role in shaping the customer experience in-store and implementing strategic initiatives in the physical retail environment.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Retail Marketing Officer, you will be responsible for all in-store communication and POS materials for Samsung's appliance portfolio. You will drive projects from idea to completed installation in-store and ensure that Samsung's products are displayed in the best possible way at retailers. The role is operational, fast-paced, and involves close collaboration with sales teams, field force, agencies, and international stakeholders. You will play a key role in strengthening the brand and driving sales in the physical retail environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and localize POS materials (e.g., signage, product messaging, decals, in-store communication)
• Be responsible for in-store displays and presentations (e.g., branded podiums, product presentations)
• Project manage the entire process from idea to completed implementation in-store: idea → budget → supplier → production → delivery → installation
• Coordinate campaign materials and in-store communication
• Work closely with Field Force and Field Trainers
• Maintain ongoing dialogue with retailers and external suppliers
• Participate in store installations and preparations as needed
• Be responsible for reporting, follow-up, and continuous improvement work
• Present projects, results, and plans internally in English (including to management and international stakeholders)

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has at least 4 years of experience in marketing project management, preferably within retail or in-store marketing
• Has documented experience with POS materials, in-store communication, and display solutions
• Has experience driving projects with external suppliers and agencies
• Has a good understanding of the retail environment and shopper behavior
• Has strong project management skills with a focus on delivery
• Is comfortable presenting and communicating professionally in English
• Is fluent in Swedish and English

It is a plus if you have

• Experience from the home electronics or appliance industry
• Experience with budget responsibility and ROI tracking
• Experience in consumer insights-driven marketing
• Experience working in an international matrix organization
