Maxi ICA Stormarknad Moraberg is now looking for an engaged and confident Sales Leader for Grocery who wants to help develop our grocery department together with an experienced and collaborative team.

As the Sales Leader for Grocery, you have an important responsibility for the grocery department and work closely with the Sales Manager and Store Manager in daily operations. Together, you drive the department forward with a focus on sales, profitability, reduced waste, and a good customer experience.

The role combines operational work in the store with planning and follow-up. You contribute to implementing the store's business plan in daily operations, ensure that common routines work, and help create an inspiring and accessible grocery department where meals, simplicity, and sales displays are at the center.

• Be responsible for the operation, development, and results within the grocery department

• Work with budgeting and operational planning in consultation with the Sales Manager/Store Manager

• Follow up and analyze sales, margins, waste, personnel costs, and customer satisfaction

• Ensure that the store's routines, policies, and business plan are followed

• Create conditions for proactive sales and sales displays with a focus on meals

• Participate in resource planning and staffing to optimize customer focus and hourly budget

• Ensure smooth daily operations in collaboration with sales staff and management

• Participate in sales leader and department meetings

• Drive improvement work and implement decided activities

• Be responsible for campaign planning, communication, and pricing strategy

• Handle administrative tasks such as delivery discrepancies, price administration, label changes, and invoice approval

• Participate in and drive marketing activities, campaigns, meal displays, and store events

• Manage and follow up on customer complaints

We are looking for someone who is an engaged, business-minded, and confident leader with strong self-motivation. You have the ability to combine structure and follow-up with engagement and inspiration in daily work. You are unpretentious, solution-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with many contact points. With a genuine interest in food, sales, and customer experience, you actively contribute to the store's development and long-term results.

• At least 3 years of experience working in a grocery store, preferably ICA

• Previous experience in a leadership role, formal or informal (e.g., sales leader, first/second, duty manager, or leading figure in the department)

Meritorious:

• Completed industry or ICA training such as BLU, LU, FLU, or HACCP

• Good product and assortment knowledge

• Interest in store operations and trends in retail

• Understanding of store economics and working with key figures

• Experience working with sales, margins, and waste

• Ability to work both strategically and operationally in the store

• Good administrative skills

• Extent: Full-time, 100%

• Working Hours: Varying according to schedule. Primarily daytime with earliest start at 06:00. Evening work occurs to a limited extent (about four evening shifts per four-week period). Work every fourth weekend is included, with Friday evening in connection to the weekend shift. Store opening hours are 07:00–23:00 every day.
