Café Assistant – 75% Tegnérs Bakery Ekerö

Tegnérs Bakery is a craft bakery with a café, where we offer freshly baked bread, pastries, sandwiches, lighter lunches, and high-quality coffee every day. In our service area, we work with clear routines and a focus on ensuring that guests are always met with a welcoming and pleasant experience.

We are now looking for a café assistant for approximately 80 percent at our location in Ekerö. Here, you will have a role where your experience, attitude, and sense of responsibility make a significant difference in the daily operations and how we interact with our guests.

About the role

The position is varied and practical, with tasks that span the entire café's daily operations. You will work closely with both guests and colleagues, contributing to creating a clean, organized, and pleasant environment. Good communication and teamwork skills are important, as well as the ability to maintain order and prioritize in a pace that varies throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner

• Work at the cash register and handle basic serving

• Make high-quality coffee and espresso

• Keep the serving area, café, and dishwashing area clean and organized

• Restock and front products in the display

• Assist with basic preparations in the cold kitchen

• Follow routines for hygiene, safety, and food handling

• Contribute to good collaboration and a stable workday within the team

Working hours

• Position at approximately 75 percent

• Rotating schedule with both opening and closing shifts

• Weekend work every other weekend

We are looking for someone who

• Has previous experience in a café, restaurant, or similar service work

• Is comfortable with cash registers and espresso machines

• Has a positive attitude and contributes to a good atmosphere at work

• Takes responsibility and works carefully even at a higher pace

• Sees what needs to be done and helps where needed

• Has good Swedish and English skills

• Can commute to work early in the mornings if needed (public transport is limited)
