The preschool kitchen is the heart of our operation – here we create energy, joy of food, and community for our 120 adventurers and educators. The preschool has 6 departments and is located in the lovely Brunnbyvik, with nature around the corner. Our guiding principles are Safety, Participation, and Joy, and we are looking for someone who wants to prepare nutritious, sustainable, and well-cooked meals from scratch and take responsibility for the entire kitchen.

Your responsibilities:

• Plan and prepare breakfast, lunch, and snacks
• Bake bread
• Handle dishwashing, cleaning, and organization of the kitchen
• Plan menus, calculate portions, and make purchases
• Ensure food hygiene, quality, and safety according to self-control programs
• Collaborate with educators and the principal to create a safe and inspiring dining environment

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a culinary education or equivalent experience from a large kitchen
• Has documented knowledge of food hygiene, nutrition, and special diets/allergens
• Is creative, engaged, and passionate about cooking with a focus on quality and sustainability
• Enjoys taking responsibility for the entire kitchen
• Has a driver's license (the preschool is a bit far from the station)
• Masters Swedish in speech and writing
