About the Position

We offer a varied cook job in the meal unit, where you will perform various tasks in our large kitchen. You will be part of our kitchen team in Norrtälje or Hallstavik, ensuring that our residents and hospitals receive nutritious and delicious meals every day. The role includes everything from preparing meals and washing dishes to picking goods and delivering food with our truck (a B driver's license is required for work in Hallstavik). Further down in the ad, you can specify your desired placement.

We work with the meal planning software Mashie, which supports us in planning and preparing meals according to orders and recipes. As a cook, you are responsible for ensuring that the food maintains a high standard, both in taste and presentation. Our kitchen is open and prepares meals every day of the year. Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 07:00 to 16:30, as well as weekend work.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Preparing lunch and dinner
• Managing dishwashing and kitchen hygiene
• Delivering meals to customers with our truck (a B driver's license is required for work in Hallstavik)

About You

For this position, you need:

• Culinary education
• Training in HACCP
• Experience in large-scale cooking
• Computer skills
• B driver's license (for work in Hallstavik)
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form

It is advantageous if you also have:

• Restaurant experience
• Knowledge of the meal program Mashie
• Knowledge of special diets

As you will be replacing regular staff, we expect you to be self-sufficient and able to ask for help when needed. We see that you have good teamwork skills as the team consists of various professions and personalities. In challenging situations, you remain calm, stable, and controlled while focusing on the right things.
