Event Manager at Vår Gård

Do you want to help create memorable experiences for our guests? We are looking for a dedicated and service-oriented event manager to join our team at Vår Gård.

In this role, you will have an important position in planning, leading, and executing our events, conferences, and larger arrangements. You will be responsible for maintaining a high level of service and ensuring that both guests and colleagues have a safe and professional experience throughout the event.

When the event operations are not ongoing, our Bistro will be your main workplace, where you, together with the team, will be responsible for daily service. The role involves close collaboration with several departments and is suitable for someone who enjoys taking responsibility, working in a structured manner, and contributing to a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead service during events, conferences, and arrangements
• Plan and execute private and corporate events
• Ensure high service quality and good flow throughout the event
• Coordinate work between different departments before, during, and after arrangements
• Conduct briefings and debriefings with the team
• Actively work with sales and upselling in food and beverages
• Plan table placements and contribute to good occupancy in our restaurant areas
• Share knowledge and inspire the team about food, drinks, and service

Conditions:

• The position is full-time with a probationary period
• You will work on a rotating schedule, during the day, evenings, and weekends
• Start immediately or as agreed
• Individual salary setting
• Collective agreement exists

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Great passion for food & drinks
• High service sense
• Leadership and communication skills
• Responsible and structured
• Knowledge of working with Trivec, Caspeco, and Hotsoft or similar systems
