In the summer of 2023, Grand Hôtel opened a new restaurant: Grand Soleil, featuring Stockholm's best sun exposure on Blasieholmen. Grand Soleil is an all-year-round restaurant that blooms a little extra during the summer season. The kitchen draws inspiration from the French and Italian Rivieras and serves brunch, lunch, and dinner.

ABOUT THE ROLE

In the role of Waiter/Waitress, you will be responsible for your own station, including taking orders, handling the cash register, and maintaining a clear overview of your area of responsibility. You will adhere to our Leading Standards to deliver five-star service. You are the guests' primary contact during their visit and are responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction and driving upselling. To fit this role, you need to be a versatile and skilled waiter/waitress with a few years of experience in à la carte service with your own station. Furthermore, you must have the ability to keep an overview of ongoing activities while quickly switching between tasks to be where you are needed.

At times, the work will be demanding, so being stress-resistant and solution-oriented is a must. For the right person, this will be both developmental, rewarding, and above all, very fun. Working hours vary and are distributed across mornings, days, evenings, and weekends.

WHO ARE YOU?

In our international environment, guests come from all over the world, so fluency in both Swedish and English is a requirement. Additional languages are an asset.

• As a person, you are positive, structured, and passionate.
• At least one year of experience as a waiter with your own station and responsibility – preferably with international experience.
• You have documented education in the profession or equivalent documented experience.
• We are looking for someone who is self-reliant, structured, and energetic.
• High social competence and a passion for delivering fantastic service to our guests.
• Everyone working with us must be at least 18 years old and speak and write good Swedish and English. Additional languages in this international environment are naturally a plus.
