Mechanic / Technician with Computer Skills

Bil o Fritid in Trollhättan Workshop is growing, and we need more staff. We are now looking for someone who wants to work as a Mechanic/Technician and has computer skills. We are happy to hire a junior with good computer skills and a passion for cars. A C1 and BE driving license is a plus, but not a requirement. A B driving license is mandatory.

When you work as a car mechanic with us, you should have a good business sense and understand the importance of putting the customer and service first. You will work closely with customers and therefore need the ability to create long-term customer relationships. The position involves service, repairs, and diagnostics on passenger cars and light trucks of most brands.

To be considered for the role, we see that you have:

• A burning interest in technology and automotive mechanics
• Documented relevant education
• Documented experience as an automotive mechanic
• Good administrative skills and computer proficiency
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Attention to detail, organized, and able to juggle multiple tasks
• Not easily flustered when things get busy
• Friendly & Cheerful
• Reliable and willing to perform
• Good computer knowledge (not just playing Minecraft and Fortnite)

You are flexible and structured in your work while being responsible and viewing challenges as a natural step in your career. You are socially outgoing, have teamwork skills, and can also work under pressure. You easily absorb new instructions, and we consider it a given that you have a strong interest in cars and a sense of service. A minimum B driving license is required. This is a full-time position. We apply a six-month probationary period followed by a permanent position and individual salary setting. Selection and interviews are ongoing.
